For 2 years, I helped run an Instagram account about a fake relationship between 2 dogs that don’t belong to me. It all started as an inside joke…until BuzzFeed wrote an article about us. After that, we became addicted to making dog content and getting our name into the strangest places.

the wedding

Like I said, on this account Pete and Tally were “in relationship”, so obviously we threw them a wedding. We shot an 8-part series from proposal to honeymoon, revealing one new photo a day. Needless to say, all the dog blogs ate it up.

RUDE TUBE

We made a lot of silly videos about their “relationship” and one day, a British TV show called Rude Tube asked to use one on their show.

SOCHI DOGS

Before the Sochi Olympics, we found out the Russian government was euthanizing stray dogs, calling them "biological trash". So in protest, we made a statement on Instagram and asked other dogs to join us. BuzzFeed picked up the story and hundreds of submissions came rolling in. (See album)
